Ethnos' response to turkish publications
Newsroom«Dirty» pre-election games with false allegations, unsubstantiated complaints, and ... wrong translations are what marginal circles in our neighbor Turkey choose to publish. These articles put in the spotlight of their confrontations the newspaper "Ethnos".
Turkey's "eager" nationalist journalists argue that "Ethnos" was the one newspaper that first portrayed Mr. Ekrem Imamoglu as "Greek", thus reinforcing a controversy that has broken out within Turkey.
In order to restore the truth and confront fake news, the newspaper "Ethnos" has mentioned Imamoglu as of "Pontian origin", as part of a foreign news correspondence published on April 6th on Istanbul’s local elections last March, under the title "A day with Pontius who «won» the city from Erdogan ".
