NewsroomGiannis Antetokounmpo has been named NBA Most Valuable Player for the 2018-19 season, the league announced during the NBA Awards in Los Angeles. Of the 101 journalists who voted and were asked to give five choices, 78 ranked the Greek superstar first, while the other 23 put him in second place, with Giannis taking 77 percent.
