The prospects and potential evolvement of the Greek national radio and television broadcaster ERT was the subject of a ministerial meeting held at Maximos Mansion on Friday, under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The meeting was attended by government spokesman Stelios Petsas, FinMin Christos Staikouras, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni, and Deputy Minister of Sports Lefteris Avgenakis (in relation to ERT's broadcast of sports events), all of whom are also ex officio members of ERT's general assembly.

The meeting was also attended by outgoing ERT CEO Giannis Drosos (who resigned on Tuesday), who analysed the impact of broadcasting three foootball championships on ERT's budget and schedule.

Mitsotakis thanked Drosos and asked him to remain in his post for the time being.
