Draft bill on EU plans for a unified railroad network ratified in Parliament

A draft bill incorporating EU directives to create a unified Europe-wide railroad network was voted in Parliament, following a wide majority vote on Tuesday.

Ruling New Democracy, main opposition SYRIZA, and KINAL voted for it, while the Communist Party, Greek Solution and MeRA25 - which voted for some of the articles - rejected it overall.

The bill was introduced by the Infrastructure and Transport ministry.
