Quarantine for Covid-19 at building housing finance, development ministries

The building housing the Greek finance and development and investment ministries on Nikis Street in Syntagma was evacuated on Thursday, so that it might be cleaned and disinfected of a possible novel coronavirus contamination. The ministry services will resume their operation next Monday.

Three government ministers, including Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis, Deputy Development Minister Nikos Papathanassis and Shipping Minister Yiannis Plakiotakis are self-isolating as a precaution following their meetings with foreign investors, one of whom was later diagnosed with Covid-19.
