PM Mitsotakis to raise migrant issue and Turkish provocations at MED7 group meeting

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is heading to the town of Porticcio in Corsica on Thursday, to attend the 7th meeting of the MED7 group of southern European countries, hosted by France.

According to government sources, the prime minister will have the opportunity to raise the issue of migration. He will also raise the issue of Turkish provocations at a time when sanctions against Ankara are on the table and time is running out for the neighbouring country before the September 24-25 EU summit in Brussels.

The Greek premier's schedule, in French time, is as follows:

At 15:00, Mitsotakis will meet with representatives of the Greek community at Cargese, Corsica.

At 16:00, the prime minister will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.

At 17:30, he will participate in the plenary session of the MED7 chaired by President Macron.
