Boosting economic growth in Greece was the main focus of talks between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said at The Hague on Tuesday, in statements during a joint press conference with Mitsotakis after their meeting.

"We discussed the problems of the region, such as migration, but we chiefly focused on how to create more growth in Greece. We have a prime minister whose goal is to bring more investments and growth," the Dutch premier said.

He said the Netherlands, which was already active in the country, wanted to help transfer knowhow to Greece and discuss how to support structural reforms. "We want to help and we both have a mutual interest," he said.
