Test run for transmission of elections result successful says interior ministry

A general test run to check the transmission of the results in Sunday's European and local administration elections was completed successfully at the interior ministry on Friday.

Interior Minister Alexis Charitsis observed the election simulation, during which simulated results were sent to the ministry and uploaded onto SingularLogic's systems.

After the end of the test, Charitsis stated: "We have conducted a test run of the whole system and everything is ready for Sunday's elections. We are certain that the whole process on Sunday will go smoothly, quickly and efficiently, without any problems."
