Caretaker Interior Minister Antonis Roupakiotis on Saturday in a statement to Athens-Macedonian News Agency called on the people to go to the polls on Sunday.
Roupakiotis underlined that "Democracy is the political system of the many" and called on the Greeks and particularly the young "not to let the few" as he said, "to decide for their lives".
He also added that, with their vote, the citizens will 'send a strong message of support to the democracy in a period that in other European countries the extreme anti-democratic and fascist ideas are gaining ground".
